We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Specialist to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities, including maintenance and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Facility Operations: Assist in the oversight of facility operations, including monitoring and maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations to ensure employee and facility safety.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance facility operations and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on facility maintenance or a related field.
  • Experience: Four years of experience in industrial facility maintenance, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Certifications: Possess a valid state driver's license and complete a Sysco-approved defensive driving program.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and climb or balance. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
