We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in the Women's Pelvic Medicine clinic at the University of California. As an LVN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the clinical team in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician, perform a wide range of patient care activities, including prioritizing and assisting in patient triage processing, preparation, and assistance with patient examinations, administering medications, collecting and preparing laboratory tests, and patient education.
- Perform procedures, cystoscopies, PTNS, catheter changes, and other patient-centered activities within the scope of practice for a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Current LVN license issued by the State of California.
- BART or BLS certification at time of hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six months of hire date.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient Women's Health clinic.
- Knowledge of universal precautions and proper use of body mechanics.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize critical demands, and work in a team environment.
- Urology experience.
- Experience with diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- Experience maintaining sterilization of equipment.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
- Per diem shift requirement is an average of 1 shift per week per 4-week schedule. Must be available 1 weekend shift per 4-week schedule and a minimum of 1 holiday.
Annual Full Pay Range: $82,601 - $82,601 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $39.56
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
