SRI International is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at our Princeton, NJ office. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our heating and air-conditioning systems.
Responsibilities- Coordinate with assigned Supervisor and/or other trades to complete projects and work orders efficiently.
- Diagnose and repair problems with heating and air-conditioning systems, including identifying equipment and system repair and replacement needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including testing and repairing HVAC systems, and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Document actions and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- High school/vocational/trade school graduate and minimum 4 years apprentice training or equivalent experience.
- Universal Refrigeration Certification and working knowledge of government requirements regarding the use, handling, and disposal of CFCs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
SRI International offers a competitive salary range of $29.00-$38.54/hr, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
