Rewind Technician

As a Rewind Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products according to client specifications.

• Rewind products following client guidelines and internal protocols.
• Conduct visual inspections of labels to identify any defects.
• Collaborate with supervisors to make informed quality decisions.
• Set up and operate multiple slitting units.
• Perform slitting tasks on various jobs.
• Ensure proper product segregation to prevent cross-contamination.
• Manage inventory of rewind materials and restock as necessary.
• Follow standard operating procedures, guidelines, and work instructions.
• Configure and utilize the Label Vision System.
• Splice rolls together according to client requirements.
• Maintain rewind equipment according to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Set up and operate back numbering equipment as per procedures.
• Utilize tabletop rewind equipment when required.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Preferred candidates will have at least two months of relevant experience or training. Strong reading and writing skills are essential.

Ability to interpret safety regulations, operational guidelines, and maintenance manuals is required. Candidates should possess strong mathematical skills, including proficiency with fractions, ratios, and decimals.

• Excellent color perception and attention to detail are necessary.

• Strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Good attendance is crucial, and candidates must be willing to work overtime during peak periods. Flexibility in scheduling to meet production needs is expected, including the possibility of shift changes.
