OBJECTIVE: To ensure quality inspection of each task and perform rewinding in accordance with client requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Rewinds products in alignment with client specifications and internal protocols.

2. Conducts visual inspections of labels to identify any defects.

3. Collaborates with supervisors/managers to make quality-related decisions when parameters are not clearly defined.

4. Prepares and operates multiple slitting units.

5. Executes slitting tasks as required.

6. Ensures product segregation to prevent cross-contamination.

7. Manages inventory of rewind materials and replenishes as necessary.

8. Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and work instructions diligently.

9. Sets up and operates the Label Vision System effectively.

10. Joins rolls together in accordance with customer specifications.

11. Maintains rewind equipment according to preventive maintenance schedules.

12. Adheres to procedures for setting up and operating back numbering equipment.

13. Operates tabletop rewind equipment as required.

14. Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. A minimum of two months of relevant experience and/or training is preferred.

2. Ability to read and write instructions is essential.

3. Proficient in reading and interpreting safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

4. Strong mathematical skills, including fractions, ratios, rulers, and decimals.

5. Good color perception and meticulous attention to detail are necessary.

6. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.

7. Effective problem-solving skills are required.

8. Basic computer skills are necessary.

9. Consistent attendance is expected.

10. Willingness to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during peak periods.

11. Flexibility in scheduling to meet production demands, including the possibility of working different shifts.

12. Strong communication skills are essential.

13. A proactive and innovative approach to tasks is expected.

14. Must pass color vision and hue assessments.

15. Ability to perform all essential functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation.
