Industrial Equipment Electrician

Salary Range: $26-$30/hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in industrial machinery.
- Collaborate with team members or work independently to achieve project goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and comply with electrical regulations.
- Make informed decisions based on technical specifications.
- Interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings.
- Install, service, and repair electrical conduits, wiring, and fixtures.
- Conduct inspections and tests on electrical systems.
- Ensure proper grounding of electrical installations.
- Maintain and repair generators, motors, and high-voltage systems.
- Install and service heavy-duty machinery and industrial communication systems.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as lubricating motors and replacing wiring.
- Troubleshoot and rectify issues with electrical components.
- Work with programmable logic controllers and automation systems.
- Familiarity with RS-logic software is preferred.
- Experience in setting up and troubleshooting Allen Bradley drives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- An Associate's Degree in a relevant field may be necessary in some cases.
- Journeyman experience or completion of an apprenticeship program is essential.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with national, state, and local electrical codes and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual capable of managing projects and making decisions.
- Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items and climbing.
