The Senior Surgical Technologist is a key member of the Operating Room Team at Providence Holy Family Hospital, providing high-quality surgical patient care and maintaining a safe and aseptic environment.

As a leader in the department, this role is responsible for precepting new caregivers, assessing and coordinating special needs for specific surgeons, specialties, and procedures, and performing designated unit and advanced clerical functions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance of a safe and aseptic surgical environment
  • Provide quality surgical patient care
  • Precept new caregivers
  • Assess and coordinate special needs for specific surgeons, specialties, and procedures
  • Perform designated unit and advanced clerical functions

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program
  • Or completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp
  • Or work experience even if education is from a non-accredited surgical technologist program
  • Upon hire: Washington Surgical Technologist Registration
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 5 years experience as a Surgical Technologist
