Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prescription filling process.

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
