As a leader in our community, you will be responsible for overseeing the health and wellbeing of our residents, providing guidance and support to our care team, and promoting a culture of excellence in resident care.
Responsibilities:- Monitor the health and wellbeing of residents and provide leadership support and assistance with hands-on resident care and services.
- Assist in training and monitoring of medication administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with resident support services, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Ensure quality care and services are being provided and documented in a consistent manner, aligning with each resident's Service Plan (SP).
- Maintain clinical quality while leading and demonstrating the Sunrise Senior Living mission, adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Graduate of an approved college/school of nursing.
- Current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to the health and wellness of the elderly population.
- Ability to delegate assignments to the appropriate individuals based on their skills, role, and interests and according to the State Nurse Practice Act.
