Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage closely with healthcare clients, including nursing facilities and various healthcare providers.
  • Prepare Medicare and Medicaid cost reports using specialized software to ensure clients receive appropriate reimbursements in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and relevant contractors through various channels.
  • Analyze trial balances, financial statements, and client data for accurate cost report preparation.
  • Compile reports summarizing the results of clients' cost reports.
  • Participate in reimbursement-related consulting projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing Medicare and Medicaid cost reports is preferred, though candidates with less experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
