We are seeking a skilled Nurse Supervisor to join our geriatric care team at Red Rocks Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the clinical operations of our nursing units, ensuring high-quality care and positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
- Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, collaborating with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff and minimize overtime and agency personnel.
- Participate in staff mentorship, recruitment, and new hire orientation, and recommend employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and patient/family satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university; BSN preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
- Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is preferred, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care and one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity.
