Key Responsibilities:
  • Microscopically examine stained slides and controls to ensure accuracy and make modifications to procedures as needed.
  • Develop and implement simple and complex immunostaining methods, including immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence.
  • Closely collaborate with in-vivo team and other research project groups to present data and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor adjustments on all lab equipment.
  • Manage the histology area, including purchasing and maintaining inventory of supplies and organizing workstations.
Requirements:
  • BS in Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 1-3 years of histology experience in a hospital or CRO laboratory.
  • HT, HTL, ASCP certification or eligible for certification required.
  • Immunohistochemistry Certification (QIHC, ASCP) preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and adaptability.
