Our client in the New York area is seeking a skilled Histotechnologist to join their Laboratory Team. The ideal candidate will possess HT or HTL (ASCP) certification and be eligible for registry. A sign-on bonus is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities of the Histotechnologist (HT/HLT)
- Performing special histopathology procedures, including immunoperoxidase, immunofluorescence, and muscle histochemistry.
- Utilizing precision equipment for all histological protocols.
- Entering data, recalling, and labeling on complex pathology networks.
- Maintaining lab equipment, performing routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and minor adjustments.
Requirements of the Histotechnician (HT/HLT)
- HT (ASCP), HLT (ASCP), or equivalent certification.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a biological or related science.
