Role Summary:

The Provider Relationship Account Manager is responsible for delivering high-quality, accessible, and comprehensive support to our provider network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster and sustain positive relationships with providers through regular on-site and virtual interactions, ensuring effective communication of administrative and programmatic updates while facilitating education and resolving provider concerns.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on provider-related issues that influence satisfaction and network retention; investigate, analyze, and coordinate swift resolutions to complex provider inquiries and appeals through direct engagement with providers and internal partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address issues and submit work requests efficiently.
  • Manage a designated portfolio of providers within a specific cohort.
  • Lead Joint Operation Committees (JOC) with provider groups, steering discussions on relevant issues and changes.
  • Assist with Annual Provider Satisfaction Surveys, implementing required corrective action plans, and monitoring education on contract inquiries and complex claims issues.
  • Oversee communication processes regarding administrative and medical policies, reimbursement, and provider utilization trends.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to enhance understanding of managed care policies and various initiatives.
  • Engage in external Provider Townhalls/Seminars and participate in relevant State Association conferences.
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, including 2 years in a healthcare or provider setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
  • Experience in healthcare provider engagement is essential.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation is highly preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and task tracking abilities are preferred.
