We manage two public charter schools, Alameda Community Learning Center and Nea Community Learning Center, both located in Alameda, CA.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 6th-8th grade math teacher to join our team at Alameda Community Learning Center.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating in a diverse community, celebrating differences in culture, background, learning style, and thought process.
Our teachers love to learn and are motivated by challenge. We are committed to fostering an anti-discriminatory, anti-racist learning community that focuses on the whole child and is inclusive and welcoming to all.
Responsibilities
- Create curriculum and integrated projects to facilitate learning in small classes
- Collaborate with colleagues to create inspired Project Based Learning (PBL) instruction
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
