Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver outstanding customer service to both shoppers and donors. This includes ensuring a tidy and organized shopping environment while accurately processing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the dress code at all times.
- Effectively manage the cash drawer, including opening, closing, and balancing, while following all money handling protocols established by The Salvation Army.
- Gain proficiency in the Point of Sale system to ensure efficient and accurate sales transactions within the first three months of employment.
- Keep the work area at the cash register and throughout the store clean and organized, which includes tasks such as cleaning, straightening, hanging, and restocking items as needed.
- Exhibit a friendly demeanor by greeting customers and offering assistance when necessary.
- Adhere to all policies related to merchandise sales as outlined by The Salvation Army.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and assist in displaying new merchandise to meet daily production goals.
- Availability for a flexible work schedule is required.
