Job Title: EMS Instructor

Cape Fear Community College is seeking a qualified EMS Instructor to join our team. As an EMS Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Emergency Medical Services courses to students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Emergency Medical Services courses to students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Emergency Medical Services
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators
Requirements:
  • Current North Carolina Office of EMS (NCOEMS) credential at the level of the course(s) being taught
  • One (1) year of work experience at the level of the course(s) being taught
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, colleagues, and administrators
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of an approved EMS Instructor Methodology course
  • AHA BLS instructor
  • North Carolina Office of EMS (NCOEMS) instructor credential or ability to obtain within one year
