Work Schedule:
Full-Time

Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Your Role:
As an Anesthesia Support Specialist, you will work under the guidance of experienced Anesthesia Technicians to assist licensed anesthesia providers in delivering patient care and maintaining equipment.

Your Contributions:
  • Support the cleaning and preparation of anesthesia equipment.
  • Assist in the upkeep and troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions.
  • Under supervision, aid anesthesia professionals in preparing patients for procedures, including setting up monitoring devices and positioning.

Operational Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room for various procedures, which may involve:
  • Setting up laryngoscopes and intubation tools, IV solutions, and warming devices.
  • Ensuring the availability and functionality of specialized equipment such as humidifiers, infusion pumps, and patient warming devices.
  • Maintain an organized anesthesia environment, ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
  • Participate in room turnovers to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to anesthesia staff during patient care delivery.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a healthcare setting.

Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
