We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiological procedures using diagnostic radiographic equipment.
- Utilize skills and abilities required for the age of the patient served, including routine, emergent, portable, surgical, and fluoroscopic examinations.
- Image processing and understanding of current RIS and PACS systems.
- Work under the supervision of a radiologist as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists on film quality assurance, exam clarification, and ECG procedures.
- Provide patient registration and scheduling services.
- Participate in on-call or standby schedules as required.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) or Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) required.
- Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
- Radiologic Technologist Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
- Experience performing general radiographic exams using digital equipment within the last three years.
- Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills.
- Adaptability, following policies and procedures, flexibility, and experience with McKesson PACS and EPIC electronic medical records systems.
