Job Summary

As an Electrical Controls Specialist at Landmarc Environmental Systems, you will be responsible for performing tasks involving system operations, including servicing landfill gas flares, pumps, and controls, performing inspections, troubleshooting, electrical service, writing daily reports, and various other duties as assigned. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, including single and three-phase power applications up to 600VAC, and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure safe and efficient system operation.
  • Wire and connect/disconnect electrical equipment with various AC/DC voltages up to 600VAC, adhering to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all types of electrical controls, including three-phase motors and equipment, and Programmable Logic Controlled (PLC) equipment.
  • Perform electrical equipment installations according to NEC, including all feeder and branch circuits.
  • Conduct electrical control design work and equipment control modifications to optimize system performance.
  • Read, comprehend, and alter electrical and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate system design and implementation.
  • Utilize arc flash/other PPE and properly perform lock out/tag out procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Occasionally perform field service of control panels and other equipment at sites across the U.S.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, and promote a safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years of electrical experience with single and three-phase power applications up to 600VAC.
  • Minimum of three years of diverse industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to use basic electrical hand tools.
  • Understanding of intrinsically safe and Ground Fault Protection electrical equipment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
  • Capable of learning new tasks quickly.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in the last five years.
