Merchandising Specialist

Jacent Strategic Merchandising is a leading cross-merchandising impulse product company in North America, offering multiple solutions to make the challenging world of retail easier.

We are seeking a skilled Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with in-store management, executing merchandising resets, building retail displays, merchandising impulse items on clip strips & J-hooks, and implementing plan-o-grams.

• Cultivate Relationships with In-Store Management

Build strong relationships with in-store management to ensure effective merchandising strategies and maximize sales.

Plan and execute merchandising resets to maintain a visually appealing and effective store display.

Design and build retail displays that showcase products in an attractive and engaging manner.

Merchandise impulse items on clip strips & J-hooks to maximize sales and drive customer engagement.

Implement plan-o-grams to ensure effective product placement and maximize sales.

• Self-Starter and Quick Learner

A self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working both independently and in a team setting.

Someone who is comfortable in changing environments and can adapt to new situations.

Someone who is able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without a reasonable accommodation, which include:

• Standing and walking 3-8 hours
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements

Possesses excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with business partners.

Resides within 20 miles of Gunnison, CO to ensure timely and efficient travel to stores.
