Work Schedule: This position follows a 4-day work week, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting compliance calculations and implementing designs that adhere to ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 standards.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in ASME piping codes, offering guidance to various teams within the organization.
- Leading interdisciplinary teams to design projects that enhance operational efficiency in facilities such as Tank Farms and Effluent Treatment Facilities.
- Overseeing the mechanical design components of assigned projects, ensuring collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
- Creating technical documentation, including manuals, calculations, and reports, while delivering presentations to stakeholders.
- Performing site assessments to identify engineering challenges, proposing viable solutions, and making informed recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience is required.
- Proficiency in ASME B31.1 and B31.3 piping system design is essential.
- Experience with software tools for pipe stress analysis and flow calculations is necessary.
- A Professional Engineering License is required.
- Familiarity with AFT Fathom, AutoPipe, MathCAD, and Microsoft Office is expected.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams towards achieving design objectives.
- Strong presentation and communication skills are crucial.
- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
Additional Details:
- The standard work hours are from 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.
