- Team Leadership: Lead a team of skilled professionals, including assistant superintendents and subcontractors, to achieve project goals.
- Communication: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including owners, designers, and other project team members, to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze and solve work issues, including scheduling conflicts, budget overruns, and quality control issues.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards, including compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Safety Management: Champion safety initiatives and ensure that all team members are aware of and comply with safety protocols.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate subcontractor work, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Project Budgeting: Partner with the project manager to develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
- Site Utilization: Optimize site utilization to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with other departments, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of commercial construction experience, including experience in project management, team leadership, and problem-solving.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project Management, and Scheduling software, as well as strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- Commitment to Safety: Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Physical Demands: Physical demands required, including the ability to operate office equipment and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
