Custodial Specialist

About the Role

The Custodian at SBM Management Services is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas. This is a critical role that requires a hardworking and dependable individual who can deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties, including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floors, and equipment
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas, including restocking supplies and reporting incidents
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, and report any hazards or risks to the supervisor
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3-6 months of training or experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and manuals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, and willingness to share with team members
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe and efficient use
