Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Gundersen Health System. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct patient care. This includes administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing medical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Current Wisconsin licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 months or greater previous experience in Nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Specialized training or certification in a specific area of nursing
