Medical Assistant

Oregon Urology Institute is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our urology team in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares patients for examination and treatment, taking vital signs and recording patient history.
Provides hands-on procedure-oriented nursing care, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for patients.
Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
Assists in a variety of treatments, including preparing exam rooms and instruments for examination and procedures.
Communicates effectively with physicians, patients, and co-workers, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or equivalent.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Current healthcare-level CPR certification required.
