Sports Maintenance Coordinator

Position Overview
The Athletics Assistant Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the upkeep and operational readiness of athletic facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup for game days across various sports including soccer, tennis, and baseball.
- Contribute to the routine maintenance of all athletic venues as required.
- Support external maintenance efforts and participate in general enhancements of the athletic complex.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities to maintain the baseball field in prime condition.
- Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of dugouts and restrooms at the baseball venue.
Qualifications Required
- Associate Degree or equivalent educational background.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an NAIA or NCAA environment.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Comprehensive understanding of intercollegiate athletics, particularly baseball, softball, and soccer facilities.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated capacity for sound judgment, discretion, and initiative, especially when prioritizing tasks with competing deadlines.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to foster positive relationships with all personnel within the Office of Athletics.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in time management and organizational skills.
