Anesthesia Technician

As an Anesthesia Technician at Penn State Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and maintain the necessary equipment and supplies for anesthesia procedures. This includes setting up and testing equipment, restocking supplies, and ensuring that all necessary materials are available for each procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
Assist anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) with patient care
Monitor and maintain anesthesia machines and other equipment
Restock and replenish supplies as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
Strong communication and teamwork skills
