Job Summary

As a Field Foreman at MasTec Communications Group, you will play a critical role in leading the daily site construction work efforts to ensure the crew meets production goals determined by leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites, ensuring safety requirements are met, and implementing industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily site construction work efforts to ensure the crew meets production goals.
  • Oversee the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites.
  • Ensure safety requirements are met and implement industry standards (OSHA, TIA10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI).
  • Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew.
  • Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by leadership.
  • Compile all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort.
  • Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces.
  • Coordinate with customer representative for site-related activities and maintain a good working relationship.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and actively train/promote learning to all crew members.
  • Always maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition.
  • Validate daily timesheets for Management.
Requirements
  • Safety is a part of your day-to-day.
  • You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
  • You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work.
  • You are looking for long-term projects.
  • You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team.
  • You have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED), technical degree preferred.
  • You have at least 5 years of industry experience.
  • Possess a WSA certification is a plus.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, and clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
  • You have demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
  • You possess job-related certifications-First Aid, Safety, Rescue.
  • You have the ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment.
  • You must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
  • You must be able to pick up to 50 lbs., and capable of working up to 12 hours.
  • You have the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
  • You possess 10+ years of experience.
  • You have possession of OSHA 10.
  • You have excavator training.
