Welcome to Summit Surgical, where we're building a legacy in orthopedic excellence. We're seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in shaping the future of orthopedic care in Kansas and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform inpatient and outpatient X-rays as ordered by physicians
* Conduct portable X-rays
* Operate C-arm for surgical cases
* Adhere to radiation safety guidelines for self, patients, and other staff
* Utilize PACs system

Secondary Responsibilities:

* Contribute innovative ideas to the development of our office environments and processes

Requirements:

* Work in a surgical hospital environment
* Potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other blood-borne pathogens
* Constant interaction with co-workers, patients, vendors, and the general public

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to sit or stand for long periods
* Manual dexterity to assist with procedures, perform and interpret lab results, and interface with computers
* Auditory acuity to effectively interact with patients and the public

Essential Qualifications:

* Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
* Current licensure
* CPR certification
* Ability to multitask
* Effective computer interface skills
* Quick learner of new concepts and procedures
* Excellent organizational skills
* Honesty
* Accuracy
* Time management and task prioritization skills
* Effective communication skills
* Punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous medical office or hospital experience
* Previous computer experience or training
