Position Title: Licensed Refrigeration Technician
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for comprehensive maintenance, repair, and service of building systems and components, specifically in office environments and research laboratories. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough monitoring of equipment performance.
- Stay updated with standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.
- Execute repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance tasks and work orders within assigned areas.
- Coordinate services with external vendors and contractors, ensuring successful project completion.
- Respond promptly to service calls to minimize downtime.
- Assist in planning and executing system shutdowns.
- Availability for overtime as required.
- Ability to work at various heights and in confined spaces.
Qualifications:
- Adhere to all safety codes and regulations.
- Possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience in the maintenance and operation of complex building systems.
- Ability to interpret detailed technical documents, including plans and manuals.
- Strong background in HVAC systems and controls.
- Optimize system performance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License is mandatory.
