Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at various customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to determine the cause of equipment malfunctions and establish the necessary repairs.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of cranes and hoists.
  • Document findings and make corrective recommendations to customers, including a written safety notification of any observed or known safety concerns.
  • Consult with customers regarding all repair and safety-related issues and discuss recommendations to assist them in improving their material handling applications.
  • Produce sales leads during service calls and report to the service office, following established guidelines.
  • Read and understand the contents of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, and other industry codes and regulations.
  • Complete service reports and other required documents in an accurate, neat, and legible manner and submit them promptly and following established guidelines.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
  • Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license.
  • Must be willing to work off the ground and be available for on-call duties as part of the service office rotation.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, and overhead reaching. You will be inside approximately 90% of the time and outside approximately 10% of the time. You will be frequently exposed to heat, cold, noise, and heights.
