Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at Stauffers of Kissel Hill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and rotisserie chicken.
  • Present menu options to customers, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and service.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including slicers, ovens, and fryers.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen area, including equipment, containers, and storage areas.
  • Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise, checking invoices against items received.
  • Rotate product according to departmental guidelines and set up displays to attract customers.
  • Take and process customer orders, ensuring that products are ready on time.
  • Take inventory and examine merchandise to identify items needing to be reordered or replenished.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with hot temperatures and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
