Landscape Maintenance Professional

NE Property Management seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and appeal of our luxury communities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in groundskeeping at a multi-family property or equivalent field. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. A valid driver's license and automobile insurance are also necessary.
We offer competitive compensation, including $45,000 per year, along with excellent healthcare benefits and a 401(k) match. Paid time off and a great working environment with a supportive team make this an attractive opportunity for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be authorized to work in the U.S. and possess a "safety first" attitude when interacting with other staff members and technicians.
Duties and Responsibilities- Regularly inspect and replace exterior lighting fixtures.
- Maintain the pool area, cleaning and sanitizing as directed.
- Conduct routine safety checks and report any hazards immediately.
- Monitor apartment property conditions throughout the community and address any issues promptly.
- Awareness of utility meter cut-offs, apartment fixture shut-offs, and sewer cleanouts is essential.
- Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties as needed.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Physically walking the property to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings.
- Cleaning laundry rooms, pool areas, mailrooms, dumpster areas, recreation spaces, and walkways.
- Transferring trash and other items left outside of the dumpster into the container.
- Raking under shrubs, shoveling mud when necessary, and using a blower to keep sidewalks clear.
- Repairing windows, screens, and sliding glass doors as needed.
- Assisting with physical tasks, such as tearing down fences and digging post holes.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and assist in emergency situations.
- Standing, walking, and occasional sitting depending on daily needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and multitask.
- Occasional need to perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching above shoulder level, grasping tools, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
