Role Summary:
Advantage SCI is in search of experienced Security Specialists to join our team.

The selected individuals will be tasked with delivering security oversight and evaluation of DD-254 documents issued to contractors providing support to our clients.

Daily engagement with the Contract Management System (CMS) will be required to assess, approve, deny, or request further details related to the Acquisition Planning Record.

Support will be provided to the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer Representatives, and Industry partners (including Directors of Security and Facility Security Officers) to ensure the accurate preparation and submission of DD Form 254s, along with necessary security guidance.

Verification of

Cage Code, Facility Clearance, and safeguarding levels within the Defense Security Service Industrial Security Facility Database will be essential, facilitating communication between clients and industry partners to guarantee adherence to security protocols outlined in the Statement of Work, DD-254, and any addendums.

Conducting security briefings and training sessions will be part of the role, ensuring that all required security information is highlighted in the solicitation, SOW, DD-254, and any addendums; additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.


Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance and successful completion of CI Polygraph
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels and with clients across various locations.
  • Experience within the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is advantageous
  • Must hold a valid certification of completion in PII and Cyber Awareness Challenge from Information Assurance Support Environment (valid within 30 days of hire). Certification can be obtained through the appropriate channels.

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Capability to stoop, kneel, bend, and reach regularly
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
