Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Health Images in Castle Rock. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound procedures to adult and pediatric patients, assisting radiologists during specialized exams, and maintaining equipment to ensure high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with patients to gather medical history and provide instructions on procedures
  • Review patient charts for missed clinical information and consent
  • Perform ultrasound scans and print images while attending to patient care
  • Assist radiologists on specialized exams
  • Transfer images to other locations as needed
  • Coordinate scan protocols with radiologists
  • Maintain and inspect equipment, reporting any quality concerns or equipment failures
  • Interface with lead technologists and center managers regarding departmental concerns
Requirements
  • Two plus years' experience in ultrasound, preferred
  • Ability to educate patients on procedures
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a problem solver
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
Education and Certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program
  • Current ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or ARRT (VS) registry, preferred
  • Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
