Riverbend Clinical Director Job Description

At Riverbend, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to oversee all clinical operations at our Tower Hill residential treatment program in Lawrence, Massachusetts. As a key member of our clinical team, you will work collaboratively with executive leadership and other clinical directors to establish and maintain best clinical practices across all Riverbend residential programs.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $85,000-$95,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) matching, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, parental leave, professional development assistance, referral program, and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supervising all program staff, maintaining current DPH licensing criteria and adherence to agency internal best practices, policies, and procedures, and quality standards. You will also be responsible for oversight and management of program referrals, waitlists, and intakes, acting as a liaison between Riverbend and outside agencies, facilitating clinical team meetings, tracking and completing insurance authorizations, and auditing the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to ensure timely documentation.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or Public Health, with at least five years of clinical experience working in substance use and/or mental health. A license in Counseling, Addiction, Social Work, or Mental Health is also preferred. Excellent organizational, training, and time management skills are essential, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Electronic Health Records is required.
