Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a community-based health center in N. California. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality primary clinical care to clients of all ages, including obtaining health history, performing physical examinations, assessing, and managing physical and psychosocial problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary clinical care to clients of all ages, including obtaining health history, performing physical examinations, assessing, and managing physical and psychosocial problems.
- Develop a problem list, diagnostic, therapeutic, and teaching plan, which includes preventive health.
- Provide patient education and counseling, including family planning and STD counseling and services.
- Furnish and adjust medications in the formulary in accordance with the law.
- Order diagnostic studies such as laboratory and radiologic tests, as needed.
- Refer patients for specialty evaluation and care as needed.
- Review patients' records, including laboratory data, for abnormalities and completeness, and provide appropriate follow-up.
- Precept and teach nurse practitioner students and other nursing personnel.
