Job Title: Automobile Technician

Join our team at Tate Branch Auto Group as an Automobile Technician, responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cars and light trucks. As a key member of our Service Department, you will provide mechanical support and ensure our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and coordinate schedules to ensure efficient workflow
  • Analyze and interpret data to diagnose and repair complex issues
  • Calibrate precise measurements to ensure accurate repairs
  • Solve problems and provide solutions to customers
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Complete written work orders and maintain accurate records
  • Utilize manual dexterity and mechanical skills to perform repairs
Certifications and Licenses:

We require a Refrigerant Handling License and Master Automobile Technician Certification for this role.

Physical Demands:

This position requires regular lifting of 40-60 lb. mechanical parts and tools, bending, kneeling, reaching, standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and handling and assembling parts. You will also frequently use small hand tools and computer systems.

Work Environment:

You will work in a fast-paced Service Department environment, exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is moderate to loud.
