Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to join our team at Gerber Collision & Glass. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of parts to support our repair operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Verify the accuracy and quality of parts received, ensuring they meet production schedule and vehicle needs.
  • Vendor Communication: Collaborate with vendors to order and receive parts, confirming quality, correctness, and quantity.
  • Parts Distribution: Ensure timely parts delivery to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Financial Management: Enter parts invoices into our Management Information System (MIS) and reconcile vendor invoices.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Monitor performance of parts, materials, and sublet vendors, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Administrative Tasks: Post and file invoices and credit memos, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts, preferably in an auto body parts environment.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Management Information Systems, such as Summit and Repair Centre.
