Essential Qualifications:
  • Current Nursing License in Texas (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • Experience in long-term care with a background in nursing education
  • Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and communication skills
  • Genuine compassion for residents and staff
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Commitment to the care of elderly and disabled individuals
  • Understanding of the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities
  • Adherence to company and departmental safety protocols
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English
Key Duties:
  • Supervise and facilitate in-house CNA training or coordinate external CNA training
  • Understand, implement, and educate on company HR policies and relevant laws
  • Maintain accurate personnel records
  • Coordinate and lead New Hire Orientation with follow-up support
  • Recruit qualified personnel
  • Organize and deliver in-service education, including Nursing Assistant Certification and CPR training
  • Assume responsibilities of Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or Staff Nurse as needed
  • Conduct daily rounds to monitor staff performance and identify training needs
