Technical Sales Specialist

MoistTech Corp is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and sales expertise to customers in the near-infrared sensing technology field.
Key Responsibilities- Provide customer support by responding to requests for quotations and providing detailed analysis of product cost, schedule of delivered goods, and tooling costing.
- Work with engineering, sales, and production staff to understand standard component fabrication techniques, standard composite materials, and current demands of our customers to formulate quotations.
- Provide product technical engineering information by creating and giving presentations to customers on company equipment.
- Consult and evaluate with potential customers to understand their needs and identify equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
- Perform troubleshooting and modifications to the equipment both in office and on-site with customers.
- Maintain accurate and precise CRM records using Zoho.
- Pursue leads that come in via the website and marketing leads.
- Requires significant travel (approximately 50% or more) for customer visits and trade show exhibits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Quick ability to learn the technology and adapt to working with various customer applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish, background in Engineering, and previous knowledge of Near-Infrared technology.
