We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate educator to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with emotional, behavioral, and intellectual/developmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive therapeutic approach tailored to individual student needs
- Provide intensive services to students aged 6-17 within a four to six month treatment period
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university
- Florida Educator Certificate (Elementary Ed and ESE Preferred) or current Status of Eligibility
- Minimum of three years experience working with Emotional Behavioral Disability students
- Paid time off (24 days per year, increase with years of service)
- Sick time (64 hours per year)
- Retirement – 403(b) through TIAA
