Overview

Avera Queen of Peace is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic services in the area of speech, language, cognition, feeding, and swallowing for infant through adult patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology from an American Speech-Language Hearing Association Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) accredited program
  • Licensed by the State of South Dakota as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Pediatrics experience preferred

Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
  • No weekends
  • One Holiday per year

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $45.75 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
