Your Role
As a Certified Nurse Aide, you will provide nurturing care to residents, clients, and members, ensuring the highest quality of service under the guidance of designated departmental leadership and other medical professionals as appropriate.
Available Shifts
Part-Time: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM, 3 days a week (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday).
Full-Time: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM, 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to call lights to assess residents' or clients' needs.
- Assist residents, clients, or members with daily living activities (ADLs) including:
- Bathing
- Eating (includes setup, serving, and collecting food plates and utensils)
- Dressing
- Oral hygiene
- Grooming
- Provide assistance with toileting and peri care for incontinent residents, clients, or members.
- Aid in turning, repositioning, and transferring residents, clients, or members as per care plans.
- Transport residents, clients, or members to and from their rooms for activities and meals.
- Record vital signs and other essential data, including mood and pain levels, and report any significant changes to licensed staff.
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all residents, clients, and members.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
- Current State of Hawaii Certified Nurse Aide certificate.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Proficiency in computer usage, including software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements
Employees must be able to perform essential duties, which may include lifting up to 50 pounds and performing various physical activities such as standing, walking, and reaching.
Work Environment
Employees may encounter various conditions, including air-conditioned offices, outdoor weather, and exposure to hazardous materials.
