Convention Center Food Hall Manager

We are seeking an experienced and diligent Concessions Lead to help lead the concessions program at the Gas South District Convention Center. The Conventions Center Food Hall Lead will be the point person in all concession's aspects on the Operations Team, will attend all events to ensure efficiency, and lead the team in pre-planning and event logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the operations of Food Hall, while assisting team members and maintaining a safe environment throughout operating hours.
- Greet, direct, and respond to guest's questions and needs.
- Understand menu offerings, presentation, and pricing.
- Ensure proper product control and handling of inventory and equipment.
- Follow payment policies and food safety/sanitation guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner following outlined steps of service.
- Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Relays relevant information to Food Hall supervisor.
- Perform other duties such as replenishing condiments and general supplies and maintaining cleanliness concession area.
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- 1+ year in Concessions experience required
- 1+ year in leadership required.
This position will consist of event attendance, preparation, set up, and breakdown. This position work mostly out of and mainly stay within the Gas South District Convention Center but may travel to other venues within the Gas South Region.
Uniform RequirementsAdherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines.
Physical Demands- Prolonged periods of standing, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue
- Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
- Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.
