Factory Service Center Technician

Job Summary

The Factory Service Center Technician is responsible for ensuring aircraft and articles are maintained and repaired in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. This role involves performing maintenance, repair, and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with current technical data.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Service Center vision and organizational objectives through effective communication and leadership.
  • Identify improvements to increase quality and throughput while achieving on-time delivery.
  • Provide assistance to team members as required.
  • Properly utilize the Factory Service Center work order system to record work performed and log OJT.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to in accordance with 14 CFR Part 145 manuals.
  • Attend training and safety sessions as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a thorough knowledge of Cirrus Aircraft maintenance manuals and associated vendor manuals. An Airframe and Powerplant license, or equivalent experience, is preferred. The individual must also demonstrate problem-solving abilities, effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
