Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor II Part Time to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will provide crisis intervention services, screening, and consultation to support and back up the 988 hotlines.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide telephonic crisis intervention services, screening, and consultation in a culturally competent manner
* Work under the direct supervision of the Special Services Coordinator
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive mental health services
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences
* Professional experience in human services or social services programs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
