Position Overview

The Cognitive and Behavioral Health Center of Charleston, LLC (C&B) is actively looking for part-time Associate Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC-A) who are passionate about providing support to both child and adult clients. C&B operates as an outpatient mental health facility, guided by a team of experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologists.

We pride ourselves on offering a flexible work schedule, comprehensive front desk support for efficient appointment management, and a competitive compensation package. LPC-As will receive supervision from Licensed Clinical Psychologists who prioritize ongoing training and professional growth.

Immediate openings are available, contingent upon the completion of standard background checks.

Key Responsibilities

LPC-As will be responsible for:

  • Conducting intake assessments
  • Providing individual and family counseling services
Work Schedule

This position allows for up to 20 clinical hours per week, tailored to the candidate's availability and patient demand.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Master's degree in a Counseling-related field is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Current licensure in the State of South Carolina as an LPC-A is mandatory.
  • Ability to successfully pass standard background checks, including SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry.
