We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our Quality Inspection Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate materials and assembly parts to ensure they meet quality control standards and are safe to use.
- Provide general oversight of the Quality Inspection Team, with a focus on compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.
- Perform inspections using approved technical data and FAA best practices.
- Foster a culture of cooperation and teamwork within the team.
- Five years' experience as an Aviation Quality Inspector.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondences, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Proficiency in using various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Prior experience acting as an Inspector in a Part 145 MRO under Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
